Mahindra is all set to launch the much-awaited Scorpio-N SUV on June 27, 2022, at 5:30 PM IST. Ahead of the official launch event, the brand has just released a new video of the upcoming car on its YouTube channel. Mahindra has highlighted the key exterior and interior design elements of the Scorpio-N in the official video.
Drawing inspiration from the last-generation model, the new Scorpio-N has a suave design language and boasts Mahindra’s butterfly logo like the XUV700. Some of the key design elements of the upcoming SUV include a chrome radiator grille, twin-pod headlights, attractive alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, roof rails and more.
The All-New Scorpio-N will redefine the D-segment SUV category and has been engineered ground-up to meet the aspirations of the young and tech-savvy customers looking for an authentic full-size SUV. Tough yet sophisticated, the All-New Scorpio-N is a head-turner with a bold and imposing design and commanding driving position. The #BigDaddyOfSUVs boasts premium interiors and will come loaded with a host of advanced modern features and the latest technology.
In the latest official video, we can see the elegantly designed cabin of the all-new Scorpio-N. Mahindra has offered the interior in a dual-tone finish and the material used on the dashboard is soft-touch. The infotainment cluster has a sophisticated design and it is surrounded by chrome. The cabin also gets a Type-C charging port and a new steering wheel with Mahindra’s butterfly logo.
Talking about the rear profile of the SUV, in the video, the Scorpio-N looks quite simple, and the only thing that is being tried to make attractive is the tail light section. It seems like the taillight design draws inspiration from the Volvo XC90 premium SUV. However, it doesn’t justify the XC90’s taillight styling. The use of chrome to a good extent on the bumper and door handles might entice SUV lovers.
The upcoming SUV will be manufactured at Mahindra’s state-of-the-art Chkan plant where a skilful team of designers has worked hard to give the dream of a powerful as well as wonderfully designed SUV life. Also, the brand has confirmed that the 2022 Scorpio-N will have both diesel and petrol powertrains along with a 4×4 wheel drive option. Buyers will have the option of choosing from the offered automatic and manual transmissions. We will be posting more details tomorrow after the official launch of the SUV in the Indian market.
