Upcoming Mahindra Scorpio New Spy Shots; Diesel Variant Power Specs Leak

One of India’s best-selling SUVs, the Mahindra Scorpio, is getting ready to enter the market soon with the new model. The SUV might be launched in June, coinciding with its debut in June 2002. The new Scorpio has a number of upgrades, including enhanced design, upgraded technologies, and a more spacious interior. Now, a new set of spy shots of the test mule has surfaced online and disclosed some more information.

As seen in the spy images, we can say the two-wheel drive, diesel engine with manual transmission will have the capacity to generate 130 PS of max power. However, this information is not confirmed by the brand. The sticker on the windshield of the spotted SUV has indicated the figure. The Scorpio is well-known for its road presence, and the brand’s design team has made good efforts to enhance the USP of the forthcoming SUV.

Thus, the next-gen Mahindra Scorpio gets a more aggressive front fascia encompassing a prominent multi-slatted grille finished in chrome. Another significant add-on is bumper-mounted C-shaped LED DRLs. The 2022 Scorpio is anticipated to acquire the new Mahindra logo, which debuted on the XUV700. Other components, such as the headlights and bumper, have also been upgraded. In addition, to improve the SUV’s rugged appearance, the air dam has been widened, and a big skid plate has been installed.

The all-new Scorpio is positioned as the “Big Daddy of SUVs,” with a large cabin and a slew of new features. The dashboard has been totally overhauled, with a new dual-tone theme. Upholstery is also available in two-tone colours. The new Scorpio sports a semi-digital instrument panel with a multi-information display in the centre. The digital display is anticipated to exhibit a variety of information, including tyre pressure and direction, door open/close, seat belt reminder, temperature, range, trip metre, average speed, and so on.
