2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Receives 33,000 Bookings in Just 11 Days!

Maruti Dzire was recently launched for INR 5.45 lakh in India. The car comes with an all new fascia while considerable changes can also be seen on its rear profile. Maruti reported that 33,000 bookings for the new Dzire were received in last 11 days, making it an already successful product before the delivery of its first unit!

2017 Dzire has been launched with all new shades and even offered under a new ZDi+ variant that carries features like projector headlights, rear view camera and Smartplay infotainment system. The car now measures 3995 mm in length, 1515 mm in height and 1735 mm in overall width.

The 1.3 liter, 4-cylinder diesel motor is good for 73.7 BHP at 4000 rpm and 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine comes mated to 5-speed manual as well as AMT gearbox. The petrol engine produces 81.8 BHP at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm at 4200 rpm. The diesel variant starts with a price tag of INR 6,45,000.

Maruti Dzire compact sedan is now in its third generation while the introduction of shades like Oxford Blue, Gallant Red and Sherwood Brown makes it look even better than ever. The 15 inch, diamond cut alloy wheels look perfect to the side profile. The key rivals of Maruti Dzire are Ford Figo Aspire, Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Tigor, Hyundai Xcent, and Honda Amaze.

2017 Maruti Dzire comes with more space on the inside while while the diesel variant is now the most fuel efficient car of India with 28.48 kmpl of company claimed mileage. The diesel model starts at INR 6.45 lakhs while the top spec model with the same engine can be bought for INR 9.41 lakh. This specific model carries an AMT gearbox.
