2019 Maruti Ertiga has been launched in India for INR 7.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car comes in ten different variants starting with L as the base and Z+ as the top model for both engines. The difference between petrol and diesel engine is INR 1.40 lakh for each of the variant, with Maruti taking around INR 1 lakh for the automatic gearbox. Here is an engine wise break up for all Ertiga variants.
The price of Ertiga diesel is INR 40,000 over the expectation, with every Maruti car getting the same difference of INR 1 lakh between petrol and diesel engines. The availability of SHVS on both engines is the biggest positive point, with petrol engine even claiming hatchback-like mileage figure. The car measures 4395 x 1735 x 1690 mm in length, width and height respectively. The wheelbase available here is 2740mm.
The 45-liter fuel tank offers impressive range for the diesel engine. The diesel engine used here is good for 90 HP and 200 Nm. The 1.5L, four-cylinder petrol engine seen under the hood is good for 105 HP at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm at 4400 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The top variant is only available in manual gearbox variant while automatic arrives in V and Z trim of the petrol engine.
Maruti is offering SmartPlay infotainment unit, 15-inch alloy wheels, push start button, rear parking camera and climate control system on the all-new model of Ertiga MPV. The automatic version comes with electronic stability program and hill hold control for added safety.
