All-New Suzuki Ertiga MPV was recently launched in Indonesia back in April 2018 and is all-set to launch in India somewhere around the year’s end. According to the new spy pics of the latest model being tested on the Indian roads, we can see certain differences in the interior of the car in the Indian edition as compared to the one launched by Suzuki in Indonesia.
According to the images, the new Ertiga MPV will be getting a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for the petrol variant and the high-spec trims will be equipped with climate control, key-less go along with a push button. Coming to the interiors, you can see a new trim in a beige color with a new dashboard design with larger horizontal air-con vents, touchscreen infotainment system and more.
You can expect Maruti to launch the new Ertiga with a 1.5-litre, K-Series petrol unit with 103HP-138 Nm on-board that will be replacing the old model’s 92HP, 1.4-litre unit. The 1248 cc diesel engine will remain the same with maximum power of 90 HP @ 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm.
The Indian-spec variant of Ertiga will be offered with ABS and twin airbags as standard. It is expected to get 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and a twin-pod instrument cluster. The recently spied Heartect platform based new second-gen Ertiga gets new projector headlamps and a new chrome grille with refurbished bumper and fog lamps.
