2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Spotted in a New Set of Photos

The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to be launched in the country shortly. The brand has managed to ace the compact SUV segment with the launch of the Vitara Brezza, which registered a sales figure of more than 10,000 units in a row and crowned itself on top.

Now, the brand will be launching a facelifted variant of their most cherished SUV though it will be available only with a 1.5L petrol engine. The updated SUV has been recently spied testing on the Indian roads. The 2020 model of the Vitara Brezza has been specifically designed to address the growing competition. The upcoming SUV has been spotted wrapped in black though offering a clear insight to its not so distinctive look.

The front bumper of the SUV has been redesigned to set it apart from the current-gen variant while the brand has also updated the round-shaped fog lamp housing. In addition to these, the front grille has witnessed a minor tweak while the projector headlamps are now mated to the exclusive LED DRLs. The wing mirrors continue to feature the turn indicators while the overall compact SUV profile of the Vitara Brezza has been retained.

The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza features the same rear design setup as seen on the current-gen variant which includes the same LED tail lamps along with the third stop lamp. The brand is likely to offer its latest SmartPlay infotainment system to the facelifted SUV while the top-end variants are also rumoured to get a sunroof as well as curtain side airbags.

Coming to the engine specifications, the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to feature a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that is capable of generating a maximum power figure of 105HP and an utmost torque of 138 Nm. The engine will be mated to an optional 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The facelifted SUV is expected to launch in India in November this year while getting an expected starting price tag of INR 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
