2023 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Official Photos and Colour Options

Maruti Alto K10, India’s best-selling hatchback, is all set to make its debut in an entirely new avatar on August 18th, 2022. But ahead of its official launch, numerous details related to its features, variants, and powertrain have leaked. There is also confirmation that the upcoming new-gen Alto K10 will be sold along with the existing Alto 800. Furthermore, we are mentioning the details that surfaced online thanks to leaked photos.

As revealed by the leaked information, the 2023 Maruti Alto K10 will be built on the brand’s new Heartect modular platform and have enlarged body dimensions compared to the current-gen model. The hatch will be offered in a total of 12 variants, among which 8 are manual and the rest 4 are automatic. The manual variants are referred to as the STD, STD (O), LXI, LXI (O), VXI, VXI (O), VXI+, and VXI+ (O), while the automatic variants are referred to as the VXI, VXI (O), VXI+, and VXI+ (O).

Speaking of the design updates, the 2023 Alto K10 gets a revised dashboard, new upholstery, and an updated instrument cluster. The new-gen model will also be equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, it will be limited to the top-spec variants only. Other key features include a remote key, front power windows, power-adjustable ORVMs, and 14-inch steel wheels. On the safety front, the maker has fitted the car with dual front airbags, an ABS system and rear parking sensors as standard.

The next-gen Alto K10 will get power from the same 1.0-litre K10C DualJet engine that also performs duties on the Maruti S-Presso and the Celerio. This engine is designed to belt out 67 hp of max power and 89 Nm of max torque. Buyers will be able to choose between a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission. This new Alto K10 will also likely be offered with a CNG option. As far as the colour options go, the brand is expected to offer the car in six shades – White, Silver, Grey, Red, Blue, and Yellow.
