2023 Suzuki XL7 Alpha FF (Finest Form) Details and Photos

At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) in Jakarta, Maruti Suzuki has recently added a new variant of its Ertiga XL6-based XL7. This new top-end variant is called Alpha FF, where FF stands for “Finest Form”, and it gets an identical set of upgrades to the Suzuki Ertiga Sport FF, which was exhibited during the GIIAS 2021. In this new top-end avatar, the XL7 appears sportier, with plenty of cosmetic changes both inside the cabin and outside.

While the overall appearance is the same as the current model, it receives sporty elements such as blacked-out panels for the front grille, lower front bumper, fog light enclosures, claddings on wheel arches and door sills, ORVMs, and pillars.

It also has a completely blacked-out roof and a roof-mounted spoiler, which add to its athletic appearance. These sporty blacked-out details are accentuated by red highlights in the front bumper’s air dam, wing mirrors, door sill claddings, and spoiler lip.

Among other external features are roof rails, dual-tone alloy wheels with a star-studded design, and L-shaped LED tail lamps. Despite the addition of sporty elements in gloss black, Suzuki has lavished chrome on features such as door handles, the front grille logo and character line, licence plate surrounds on the tailgate, and XL7 branding. The tailgate even has “Limited” badging adorned in chrome, indicating that this is a limited edition model, with just 150 units of MPV available in Indonesia.

On the inside, you’ll see a sleek all-black interior with red accents on seat cushions and knob encasings. The seats themselves have been upholstered in eco-leather. A new sound system with a digital sound processor from Soundstream, clever digital temperature management, and a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel are all included in the package.

It features the same 1.5-litre K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 104 horsepower and 138 Nm of peak torque when coupled to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
