The compact SUV segment is currently witnessing stiff competition, and meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki India Limited is actively working on the new-gen model of its popular subcompact SUV, the Brezza. And most recently, the production-spec model got leaked and revealed the complete design of the forthcoming 2022 Brezza. As expected, the next-gen model will be equipped with a plethora of updates, both interior and exterior.
Ahead of its official debut, a rendered image has been made based on the leaked pictures, and it appears beautiful. The renders are courtesy of Carversal and Shubhajit Dixit. Starting with the front of the car, according to the rendered image, it gets a revamped grille section with a more eminent horizontal slat painted in black, a sportier fog lamp section, slicker and inner-part headlights with integrated LED DRLs, a larger central air intake on the restyled bumper and more.
Other notable exterior highlights include the revised clamshell bonnet structure, a large greenhouse, signature tall pillars, a slightly inclined roofline, raked windshield, thick black wheel arch cladding, a brand new set of taillamps, an updated rear bumper, roof rails, and new front and rear skid plates. The render has been created in a dual-tone paint scheme of white and black. In addition, the rear end now appears flatter and more elegant as compared to the previous model.
Aside from exterior updates, the forthcoming SUV will also have interior updates like a larger floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, and an updated instrument console with a larger MID, to mention a few. When it comes to mechanical specifications, the 2022 model is most likely to feature the same 1.5-litre K15B mild-hybrid petrol engine, which is coupled to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission and is capable of churning out 104.7 PS and 138 Nm.
