BS6 Maruti Suzuki Alto has been launched in India for INR 2.94 lakh. The base variant now features driver side airbag, seat belt reminder for both front seats, ABS with EBD, and reverse parking sensors as standard. Not just that, spending INR 3000 over the same can get you a passenger airbag for the STD (O) variant. Buyers looking for more features can consider the Alto LXi at INR 3.50 lakh as power steering and the air conditioner goes missing from the base variant. The safer version named Alto LXi (O) is priced at INR 3.55 lakh. All the prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
The top variant named Alto VXi is available at INR 3.72 lakh and comes with all the safety features as standard. Those looking for a stock music player with Bluetooth, central door locking, front speakers, rear parcel tray and body side moulding will definitely prefer the top model. The total gap of getting these features from the LXi (O) variant is just INR 17,000 and that makes the same a fair deal for a personal use car. The 796cc, three-cylinder petrol engine on the Alto is good for 47 HP at 6000 rpm and 69 Nm at 3500 rpm. The engine is available with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard.
Above Mentioned Price List is Ex-Showroom Delhi.
The top-spec car weighs 762kg and all the variants are available with a wheelbase of 2360mm. The car uses 145/80-R12 tubeless tires as standard, offering a decent amount of sidewall to handle the potholes better. The company claimed mileage of 22.05 kmpl can help a highway driver achieve 700 kilometres of uninterrupted driving. Buyers can get their hands on the six impressive shades named Uptown Red, Mojito Green, Cerulean Blue, Superior White, Silky Silver, and Granite Grey. The white is the only non-metallic colour out of all these options.
