New Suzuki Jimny is one of the SUVs that has been able to take the market in its wind and leave the majority of its competitors behind. Even though the SUV is smaller in size, the ultimate design language and powerful performance make it stand tall. The SUV has been subjected to many customizations across the world, though the recent Jimny Landmaster pickup truck features an entirely new profile.
The small pickup truck is based on the MK4 Suzuki Jimny and it has been the talk of the town ever since it was created by KAP Suzuki, UK. The Jimny Landmaster has a decent amount of loading capacity while the pickup truck isn’t much powerful when compared to the likes of Toyota Hilux or Ford Ranger but it sure is capable of meeting the daily utility needs. KAP Suzuki has chopped off the rear end of the stock model of the Jimny SUV and replaced it with a small cargo bay to carry the utilities.
The pickup truck is based on the Suzuki Jimny’s entry-level variant while misses out on features like alloy wheels or even projector headlamps that are available on the top-spec variant of the SUV. To enhance the off-road capabilities of the pickup truck, KAP Suzuki has equipped it with huge BF Goodrich tyres along with sturdy silver-finish 5-spoke alloy wheels.
The standard safety package offered to the truck includes the likes of a high beam assist as well as a dual-sensor braking technology. The gearbox option offered to the customized truck also remains to be a 5-speed manual as seen on the JZ trim. The custom-made truck further misses out on a touchscreen infotainment unit as well as leather-clad steering wheel design.
Powering the Suzuki Jimny Landmaster pickup truck is the same 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 101HP and a peak torque of 130Nm. The customization is officially endorsed by the authorities so the customers can get the pickup truck registered legally while one can contact KAP Suzuki for availability and pricing details.
