Maruti Suzuki is all set to showcase the Futuro-E concept electric car at the Auto Expo 2020 that will commence from February 6. The brand has recently released the first official teaser of the electric car and judging from the overall design, the electric car borrows its traits from Maruti Baleno.
Certain speculations also suggest that the brand will be unveiling the Maruti Baleno electric along with the Futuro-E concept at the Auto Expo though some other reports suggest the upcoming concept to be a coupe SUV. The new design concept will further act as the basis of several upcoming SUVs and hatchbacks from the brand.
The carmaker will be unveiling the concept car at the upcoming Auto Expo while at the same time have a customer feedback session for deciding the further course of action for its all-new design concept. The brand believes that the new concept will allow them to represent its commitment towards the multiple powertrains that have been designed specifically to meet new emission norms as well as the energy-saving parameters.
Commenting on the Maruti Futuro-E concept, Maruti’s officials stated – “With its distinctive coupé silhouette and bold proportions, Concept FUTURO-e conveys a signature character.
