Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Partially RevealedLooks Amazing!

Maruti Suzuki has begun revealing details about the all-new Grand Vitara ahead of its global debut on July 20, 2022. Bookings for the midsize SUV, which will sit above the new Brezza, are now open at Nexa dealerships.

The Grand Vitara will be built alongside the Toyota Hyryder at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka. In a series of teasers released by Maruti, the final design of the fifth-generation Grand Vitara SUV, with its unique design elements that will give it a distinct identity compared to its Toyota cousin, can be seen.

Like the new Ertiga, the front has a wide grille with chrome and piano black inserts. The Maruti Grand Vitara will have a squarish split headlamp setup with LED projectors, and the styling appears to be more in line with the Suzuki Across SUV and the new Suzuki S-Cross, both of which are sold overseas. This design element can also be found on the current-generation Baleno and, as previously stated, is expected to appear on additional Nexa models.

In addition, a chrome bar runs between the Daytime Running Lamps, with Suzuki badging in the middle. The side profile shows a proper midsize SUV silhouette, which looks a lot like the Toyota Hyryder. The Grand Vitara, on the other hand, will feature unique design elements such as a floating roof and blackened pillars.

The rear styling is also shown in part, with the taillamps extending all the way to the tailgate and three horizontally placed LED lighting elements on either side. A prominent chrome strip runs the length of the tailgate, housing the Suzuki logo and neatly blending with the taillamps. The Grand Vitara badge is located directly beneath the logo.

The full-hybrid technology is expected to be dubbed “Intelligent Hybridby Maruti. In India, the brand already markets its mild-hybrid technology asSmart Hybrid,” as seen in the Maruti Nexa and Arena lineups. Both the Maruti Grand Vitara and the Toyota Hyryder will go into production in August. The price of the Maruti Grand Vitara is expected to be announced after the Toyota version hits the market.
