Maruti Suzuki Ignis Launched in India @ Rs 4.59 Lakh
The car is purely different from every car that has been sold my Maruti Suzuki in India. It breaks the sincere social image of Maruti cars and brings in a funky, youngster oriented design language. The tall boy stance is further supported by extended wheel arches, front LED daytime running lights, LED projectors and its sporty roof line. The car looks more in sync with the Japanese generation of Suzuki cars with its exterior.
Maruti Ignis comes with the tried and tested engine duo from Maruti Swift. The 1.2 liter, 4-cylinder petrol motor is good for 82 BHP and 113 Nm of torque. The top spec petrol car weighs 860 kg and returns a certified mileage of 20.89 kmpl. The 1.3 liter, turbocharged diesel engine on the Ignis is good for 74 BHP and 190 Nm of torque. It weighs 960 kg and return an excellent mileage of 26.80 kmpl. The fuel tank is 32 liters for both the engines.
The top spec (Alpha and Zeta) car is offered with dual tone paint option while certain colors are restricted to the top 3 variants only. Pearl Arctic White and Silky Silver can be bought on all the car variants. Maruti Ignis is even offered in funky new shades of Uptown Red and Tinsel Blue, flaunting its detailed body work in an even better form. The car is offered with ABS and dual airbags from the very starting Sigma trim.
The top spec Ignis is available with loads of options. It carries push start, keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, alloy wheels, dual tone dashboard, body colored interior panels, Smartplay linkage display, rear view camera and rear washer/defogger. The car has been well placed between other Maruti Suzuki products and may influence other cars with its eye catching stance and feature list. Nexa now holds 3 cars for sale and would soon add more within the year 2017 itself.
