Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition Launched: To boost sales during the festive season, Maruti has launched a limited-edition model of the Swift hatchback in India with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 5.44 lakhs while the price range goes all the way up to INR 8.27 lakhs. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list for the Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition.
The limited-edition model is priced INR 24,999 higher in comparison to the standard version of the car and you get a host of cosmetic updates which includes the likes of a gloss black rear spoiler, black garnish on the front grille, tail-lights and fog light clusters, gloss black front, side and rear skirts, rain deflectors for the windows, and sporty seat covers.
“For all Swift enthusiasts and fans, this Limited Edition offers a new way to reflect their personality in a stylish, sporty and young way,” said Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director – Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited. “Since launch, with its disruptive looks and peppy performance, Swift has been one of the best performers in our portfolio and helped us strengthen leadership in the premium hatchback segment.”
Mechanically, there are no changes and the Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition continues to be powered by the 1.2L, four-cylinder petrol engine, which is good for a maximum power figure of 82 HP at 6000 rpm along with a peak torque of 113 Nm at 4200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox as standard while the customers also have an option to get the car with an AMT gearbox as well.
