The 2018 model of Maruti Swift is certainly a big car now in comparison to the last-gen model. The widebody not just feels great but also helps passengers enjoy more interior space with this update. This typical modified Swift Lowrider from Kochi has successfully eliminated the drawbacks that buyers witnessed since the launch of the new model in India.
Footprints of Swift were smaller than Maruti should have given to its customers as the car looks wider and riding on the wrong set of tyres for the entry-level variants. Also, it looks like Swift was given a ride height boost but getting a lower profile feels better in all aspects. This car comes with extra wide wheels and lower ride height. Apart from these two changes, one gets Swift Sport inspired spoiler, front grill highlight and wing mirror finish. As one can see LED projectors at the front, this modification must have been done on top spec ZXi+ or ZDi+ trim.
The Swift range starts from INR 4.99 lakh and goes up to INR 8.76 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers are getting more into premium options and thus, Swift was introduced with this top-level trim that brings LED lights, touchscreen infotainment system and a rearview camera. Swift rivals Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo and other hatchbacks that are priced under INR 10 lakh (on-road) in India.
