Maruti Suzuki XL6 Teased Again (New Photos): Maruti Suzuki is one of India’s most trusted automobile brands that has earned applause from its users. Recently, the company released a new set teaser images of its upcoming XL6 crossover. The 6-seater MPV is all set to be uncovered on August 21. The premium model is planned to be showcased and retailed through the brand’s NEXA chain of showrooms all over India.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 can be quoted as a clone of the company’s popular model Ertiga with a few noticeable differences. The Ertiga was all beige inside whereas the XL6 is coming with all-black interiors combined perfectly with silver inserts on the dashboard.

The 7-inch infotainment screen will support Smartplay studio system that seems promising to provide good entertainment exposure to its users and is packed with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The XL6 will come loaded with a lot of comfort features like automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, reclining rear seats, remote central locking, and a detailed MID (Multi-Information Display).

The Maruti Ertiga MPV comes with beige fabric upholstery on the seats while the XL6’s cabin features faux leather upholstery with two Innova-inspired captain seats in the middle row. These captain seats have extra padding on the sides to provide maximum comfort during a long drive. The interior of the upcoming crossover comprises of a six-seater layout.

The exterior of the car gets all-LED headlamps and have a subtle chrome slat which extends as DRLs. The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine, that generates a maximum power of 103HP and a torque of 138 Nm.

The car will be offered with two gearbox options: 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. The Maruti XL6 is not going to come with a diesel engine option owing to the BS6 emission norms likely to be applicable on April 1, 2020.

The price range of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is expected to be around INR 50,000-INR 70,000 more than the Ertiga. The premium crossover would be competing with the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Toyota Innova Crysta in the Indian market.
