Maruti Swift Limited Edition was recently launched in India for INR 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The given price is for the Petrol variant while Swift Diesel Limited Edition has been priced at INR 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car gets positioned between L and V variants for both the engine options.
This typical Swift comes with decals on bonnet, roof and doors, perfectly finished in Blue/Grey theme on White shade. Infotainment system on the car is a touchscreen unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Speakers on the Limited edition Swift brings extra bass for more fun. Additional features on the inside includes seat covers and steering wheel cover with Blue inserts and matching carpet mats.
Swift is one of the most reliable cars of all time, offering petrol and diesel buyers with 20.4 kmpl and 25.2 kmpl of claimed mileage respectively. Various reports of people getting over 20 kmpl from the diesel engine can be found everywhere on the internet. The low cost of spares and biggest dealership network among others make Maruti Suzuki a favorite brand in India.
Maruti Swift has been in the top five cars from a long time but soon after the news of the new variant, sales were seen going down drastically. The new version is expected to arrive here @ Auto Expo 2018. Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a 1.2L, four cylinder petrol engine producing 83.1 BHP at 6200 rpm and 115 Nm at 4000 rpm.
The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Buyers prefer the 1248cc, four cylinder diesel engine that is good for 74 BHP at 4000 rpm and 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine is highly refined and returns excellent mileage in real world conditions. The Swift range starts from INR 4.80 lakh.
