Maruti Vitara Brezza is the Indian Car of the Year 2017

Maruti Vitara Brezza has been a first day success story for the company. It crossed most of the competitors within the first few months and now won the 2017 Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) award. Maruti Suzuki has already sold around 70,000 units of Brezza since March 2016 while the total booking are close to 1.8 lakh units for the car. It won from Toyota Innova Crysta and Hyundai Tucson in the final round. Maruti Suzuki got higher than expected demand for this sub 4 meter crossover in the Indian market.

The car is powered by a 1248 cc, 4-cylinder diesel motor that produces 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. Currently, it is available with just 5-speed manual transmission. The car got more attention as its design elements are similar to the larger European Vitara.

Brezza comes with an ex-showroom price of INR 7,19,000 for the base LDI variant while the top spec Brezza can be bought for 9,88,000. It offers first in class features like dual tone paint that finishes the roof in a contrast shade. Vitara Brezza is being offered with hundreds of optional accessories and it can even be customized according to the taste of the buyer through various packs and iCreate program.
