Suzuki officially showcased the Swift Sport Extreme concept at the Thailand International Motor Expo back in December 2019. The design and specifics of the one-off concept are perfectly capable of making it one of the most desired hatchbacks in India just like other variants of Swift currently offered by Maruti Suzuki.
According to the images, the Suzuki Swift Sport Extreme concept features different designing traits when compared to the current-gen version of the Maruti Swift available in India. Coming to the front profile, the hatchback features a rather small mesh grille at the front mated to the front bumper that further features large air vents at either side. The front lip spoiler offered to the hatchback features eye-catching red detailing.
The brand has offered the Swift concept with unique headlamps design which features body-coloured detailing that gives an impression of the hood making its way to the headlights housing. The black graphics on the bonnet of the hatchback further separates the design in two sections with the air vents looking more dominant.
The Suzuki Swift Sport Extreme concept has been equipped with multi-spoke alloy wheels which adds onto the quirky profile of the hatchback while the fender extensions complete its overall unique look.
Coming to the rear, the brand has equipped the hatchback with roof-mounted spoiler finished in glossy black and a new rear bumper design with a faux-diffuser element. The brand has not yet revealed the interior specifications of the hatchback though one can expect the concept variant to feature all the premium bits to set it apart from the current-gen Swift.
As far as the India-spec stock model of the Swift is concerned, the customers can avail the car in a single 1.2-litre petrol engine option. It has been recently updated in the Indian markets according to the BS6 emission norms while the diesel engine has been officially discontinued.
