Mercedes AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe was recently launched in India for INR 74.80 lakh. The decent GLC receives a lot more changes than one could expect on its Coupe version. AMG treatment further improves its dynamic nature, pushing a 3.0L V6 petrol engine under the hood.
This motor is good for 367 HP and 520 Nm of torque and pairs to a 9-speed automatic gearbox for four wheel power transmission. This makes the GLC 43 Coupe good for 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. The new engine makes this variant good for 122 PS of more power than the most powerful standard variant.
Through the Coupe design, GLC achieves a much better stance and brings the head turning ability back into a decently designed SUV. AMG GLC 43 carries five driving modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual) that even has one manual variant to adjust engine, steering, suspension and transmission setting according to the need of the driver.
One could clearly see those 19-inch AMG alloys, AMG body kit and diamond radiator grill on the newly launched GLC Coupe. Being a CBU, it seems really expensive when compared to the standard GLC models in Mercedes Lineup.
Potential rivals for AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe includes Jaguar F-Pace and Porsche Macan, both being even more priced but not delivering the same sort of lighting performance in real world driving.
Mercedes-Benz is currently the highest selling luxury brand and they achieve the same through a long lineup of products like GLA, CLA, C-Class and many more. Mercedes has differentiated the products through four different segments for each car. A, C, E and S are used to describe these segment. They have a long list of AMG products that start from CLA and goes up to AMG GT-S in the company lineup.
