Mercedes-Benz All Set to Launch EQB and EQE EVs In The Indian Market

Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz is all set to introduce its brand-new EQB electric SUV this year. The Mercedes-Benz EQB will be launched alongside the EQE electric sedan in the line-up of the company’s EQ-badged electric vehicles. Apart from that, the company is all set to launch EQS luxury electric saloon in the Indian market, which has been listed on the official website of the brand for some time now. 

The new Mercedes-Benz EQB is 4684mm in length, 1834mm in width and 1667mm in height, while the wheelbase of the car is kept at 2829mm. The technical information of the car is yet to be revealed, but the manufacturing company has indicated that the new model will be introduced in all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive with several variants. The company has said that a long-range model will also be introduced with a capacity of 268 bhp and will run for 419 km on a single charge. The company has said that the more powerful model will be the AMG line, which will develop 288 bhp of maximum power.

The recent confirmation of the Mercedes-Benz EQE in the sedan segment will increase the line-up of the Mercedes-Benz EQ series to eight models. The all-electric sedan gets a 90kWh battery pack providing a WLTP certified range of up to 660km. It is capable of producing 288bhp and 530Nm of torque. Besides that, the brand is also planning to introduce performance models of the EQE in the Indian markets, which would be capable enough to generate 671 bhp of maximum power.
