2023 MG Hector Is Coming With a 14-inch Vertical Touchscreen

MG may not be the market leader in terms of sheer volume, but they are the market leader in terms of vehicle updates. Hector has been MG's best-selling product since its introduction, and now an updated Hector is ready to be released in the upcoming holiday season.

MG Motor India has released another teaser for the new Hector ahead of its planned launch later this year. The carmaker has revealed the interior of the updated model, as well as a slew of features, in the new teaser.

According to MG, the interior of the Next-Gen Hector provides a cinematic and immersive experience, complemented by handcrafted textures, soft-touch tactile, and versatile ambience on demand. Aside from some extra creature comforts, we believe MG will also include some cosmetic updates, such as an updated front fascia, new alloy wheels, and a mildly redesigned interior cabin.

The 2023 MG Hector's interior will feature a dual-tone black and white theme, a leather-wrapped three-spoke, multi-function steering wheel, brushed metal inserts, and chrome trim for the AC vents.

A 14-inch vertically stacked touchscreen infotainment system with next-Gen i-Smart connected car technology, a seven-inch fully digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ambient lighting, an electronic parking brake, touch controls for the AC, and an engine start-stop button will be standard on the new MG Hector.

Previous MG Hector teasers have shown us a glimpse of the model's fascia. We expect the SUV to keep the same engine and transmission options as the current iteration. MG will offer Hector alongside the current-generation model after its release. MG Hector will compete with the likes of Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Harrier in the Indian market.
