New Record: MG Hector Bags 7,000 Bookings in 36 Hours!

The recent launch of MG Hector SUV changed the course of the Indian car market within just a few days of its initial launch. Receiving an extraordinary response from the customers, the brand was able to grab 21,000 bookings for the SUV within just 22 days of its launch.

The overwhelming numbers made the brand close the bookings for the MG Hector for the remaining 2019 since the waiting period soared to 10 months. Being regarded as the “Internet Car”, the MG Hector SUV can be called as the highest demanded SUV till date.

On 18 July, the brand announced that the bookings for their SUV shall remain closed from midnight of 19 July to the remainder of 2019. The 36-hour window offered to the customers planning on buying the SUV gave birth to a yet again record-breaking response. The brand was able to register 7,000 more bookings for the SUV in just 36-hour duration. The total bookings for the MG Hector now stand at 28,000.

The brand has been able to deliver 1508 SUVs till date while the number of deliveries will increase in the coming months as the brand plans on increasing its production capacity. The brand is currently focusing on increasing its production capacity to 3000 units at the Halol plant. The bookings for the car will commence once again after all the initial deliveries will be completed by the brand.
