MG Motor India has launched ‘MG Experience on Wheels’ mobile showroom for the Hector SUV. Through the launch of the showroom, the British brand has attempted to expand its influence to new markets/cities across the country as this initiative will help MG leave a trail in India and will strengthen its customer base.
MG Hector looks forward to reaching the tier-2 and tier-3 cities where its existence is still unnoticed and the mobile showroom – a 45-foot trailer will undertake a pan-India journey and will focus on the said areas. At the showroom, the company will display MG Hector and the place will try to deliver a similar experience as a regular MG Motor showroom. The customers can expect an exposure which will be a combination of ‘real car experience’ and digital experience.
The mobile showroom will have an interactive digital terminal through which visitors can experience the Hector while they can also choose their accessories and can also configure their car. The motive behind this step is to reach out to new markets and be able to involve more customers in rural and semi-urban areas. It will also benefit the brand in establishing its footprint as a major player in the SUV segment.
The Cheif Commercial Officer of MG Motor India, Gaurav Gupta said in an interview – “The latest on-ground campaign builds on our ‘Automotive Retail 2.0’ proposition that leverages innovative digital tools to deliver engaging, immersive, and differentiated experiences to our customers. MG Experience on Wheels will help us expand our reach further and garner customer interest in markets where our showrooms are not yet present.”
The company recently also inaugurated its first digital studio in Bengaluru and at the studio, there will be no cars at the display and the concept behind it is to showcase a unique visual immersive experience.
