The 6-Seater MG Hector Plus has been listed on the brand’s official website and the launch is expected to take place very soon. The SUV was initially showcased at the Auto Expo back in February 2020. The Hector Plus is based on the regular model of the Hector SUV but features three rows of seats with separate captain seats in the second row. The interiors of the 6-seater version feature tan brown leatherette upholstery which impart it a luxurious look. The MG Hector Plus has also been spotted recently at a dealership ahead of the launch in the coming days.
In terms of looks, the front fascia of the 6-seater MG Hector Plus features a redesigned honeycomb grille which is now larger than the one seen on the 5-seater standard variant. In addition to this, the SUV now features a split LED DRLs setup while the redesigned headlight setup houses the turn indicators as well. Coming to the rear profile, the SUV now features a redesigned tail section with clear lens inserts in addition to faux exhaust inserts in the rear bumper.
The convenience and safety features in the new MG Hector Plus variant will remain identical to the one offered on the 5-seater variant which includes a panoramic sunroof, 10.4-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system, internet connectivity, 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Reverse Parking Sensors (RPS), Anti-Lock Brakings System (ABS) and more.
In terms of pricing, the Plus version of the SUV is expected to get a starting ex-showroom price tag of around INR 14 lakhs. The MG Hector Plus will get the same engine options offered on the standard 5-seater variant of the SUV.
