According to a recent report, over 13,000 units of MG Hector SUV have already been booked since its official unveiling in the Indian market. The car comes at the base price of INR 12.18 lakh (ex-showroom), which is quite impressive in terms of features and looks that this SUV has on offer.
The deliveries of the car have already commenced in some of the metro cities in India. MG Motors has set its target of an annual sales figure of 18,000 units for the first year. The huge number of bookings for the Hector SUV shows that they will easily achieve their target and the waiting period for the car is going to increase in the coming weeks.
At the time of official launch of the car in India, the President and Managing Director for MG Motors, Mr Rajeev Chaba said that they received a great response for the Hector SUV from customers without even knowing the price. The company plans to reach up to 250 number of touch-points within the next three months. MG is also planning to launch the 7-seat version of the Hector in early 2020.
