MG Hector SUV has been fully revealed in these live photos from the brand’s official dealer meet. The car comes with certain-segment leading technologies that can change the way owners think about cars and connected features. The launch of Hector has been confirmed for the month of May and the brand will enter India with 50 dealerships and a total of 120 touchpoints initially.
The car looks massive in the live photos, clearing the fact that size and premium feel will not be a problematic factor for the MG Hector. The car comes with squared wheel arches, dual tone alloy wheels, roof rails and much more for the typical SUV feel.
On the front side, the face brings indicators in the eyebrow section and functional lights in the lower bumper area. The chrome grille is massive and good for that huge MG logo in the middle. Hector SUV comes with silver faux bash plate and body-coloured mirrors.
The smartest part of the SUV comes out to be the interior, loaded with certain segment-leading features that are operated through 10.4-inch touchscreen display with OTA update support. The system comes with an AI-powered assistant and e-SIM support that makes it a great option for those who need customized voice commands.
The E-call feature will notify the MG customer care once the airbags are deployed and they will try connecting with the registered phone number. If they are unable to answer, the call will be made to the emergency contact number and location of the same will be given. The system will keep every MG car owner ready for difficult situations and not just that, will let them interact with the customer care for other options.
MG Motor will allow the customers to use the iSmart application for unlocking, using climate control and check vitals of the car. Hector is expected to get a starting price tag of around INR 15 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV will compete in the market with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier.
