Nissan’s updated GT-R is ready to enter India, brought through the CBU route and expected to be priced around INR 1.99 Crore (ex-showroom). It was expected to be launched in India on November 9 but now Nissan has officially delayed the launch of GT-R by 3 weeks, it will now be launched on December 2. The car is a driver’s masterpiece and now claims an even better performance than the older version. It is said to have more refinements in the way it handles around the corners with updated chassis and suspension. Potential buyers even had the chance to book their very own Godzilla while a recent showcasing was specially arranged for them.
The GT-R is one of its kind as it does not look like those ultra sleek Italian supercars but when it comes to performance, the 3.8 L, twin turbo V8 under the hood is good for 570 PS and 637 Nm of torque. In somewhat easy terms, using a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, the car presents 0-100 kmph sprint time of just 3 seconds. Apart from the engine changes, the car receives host of design upgrades also.
The redesigned bonnet, a new bumper with V-motion grill, additional DRL’s into the headlight, diffuser as well as new Y-design alloy wheels makes the 2017 Nissan GT-R truly awesome. On the inside, the seats are more comfortable while the dashboard is leather wrapped. The new 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment is a great option along with the revised steering wheel with integrated paddle shifters. All of this makes it actually one of its kind on the Indian roads.
