2017 Nissan Terrano was recently launched at INR 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car gets maximum changes to the interior while the exterior simply gets new ORVMs with turn indicators. The interior theme is now dual tone and carries soft touch dashboard on the Terrano. The 7 inch instrument console is all new and carries navigation as well as voice control enabled. It is offered with cruise control and uses an all new multifunction steering wheel for the fresh feel.
2017 Nissan Terrano Launched in India @ INR 9.99 Lakhs
The new model carries the same set of engines under the bonnet. The 1.6 liter, 4-cylinder petrol motor on the 2017 Terrano is good for 104 HP and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The second engine is 1.5 liter K9K diesel unit, available in two different power options (85 HP and 110 HP). The lesser powerful tune is good for 5-speed manual gearbox while the 110 HP unit gets a choice between 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox. The top spec model is now costlier by INR 25,000.
Nissan Terrano is based on the same frame and design as Renault Duster. Both the cars are placed in the similar segment while major rival on the list is Hyundai Creta. It is powered by even more powerful petrol and diesel motor option while pricing stays in the same bracket as the 2017 Nissan Terrano.
