Nissan Magnite Red Edition Official Photos and Price List in India

The Magnite has been a success in the Indian market, thanks to its low price and well-equipped higher variants. Nissan recently produced the 50,000th Magnite at its Oragadam plant, located near Chennai and is also sold in 15 other countries. The Red Edition model is distinguished by red accents on the exterior and interior, as well as additional equipment.

The new edition is based on the Nissan Magnite’s mid-spec XV trim and offers all three powertrain options: 1.0-litre NA petrol manual, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual, and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol CVT. Nissan has released a special edition of the Magnite for the first time since its debut in 2020.

The Magnite Red Edition has mostly cosmetic changes. Red accents can be found on the front grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arch, and side body cladding of the SUV. The Red Edition also receives body graphics, a tailgate garnish, and a prominent Red Edition badge. Inside, Nissan provides a dual-tone red and black dashboard, as well as red accents on the door side armrests and the centre console.

Wireless charging, ambient lighting, and illuminated door sills are also included in the Red Edition. The Red Edition with the turbocharged engine, like the turbo variants, gets active safety features like traction control, brake assist, and hill start assist, in addition to the standard ABS and dual front airbags.

It gets the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a full-digital instrument cluster, and a rear-view camera because it’s based on the XV trim. The Red Edition features no mechanical changes and is available with either a 72hp, 1.0-litre NA petrol or a 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission. It comes in white or black single-tone colour options.

Nissan Magnite Red Edition starts at Rs 7.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and bookings for a token amount of Rs 11,000 are already underway. The Magnite competes in India with lower variants of other compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, and Tata Punch.

  • Magnite Red Edition XV – Rs 7.86 lakh
  • Magnite Red Edition Turbo XV – Rs 9.24 lakh
  • Magnite Red Edition Turbo XV CVT – Rs 10.00 lakh
