Pagani Huayra Roadster BC Unveiled for $3.5 Million (INR 24.4 Crore)

Pagani has recently unveiled its one of the most expensive production series supercars by the name Huayra Roadster BC. Being priced in the market at a whopping 3.5 million US dollars (INR 24.4 Crore, approximate), the car redefines the hyper roadster segment. With a powerful engine, gracious styling language and all the premium components one can imagine, the Huayra Roadster BC is exceptionally out of the world.

Though the mind-boggling price tag is the talk of the town, something that amazes us more is the monstrous horsepower offered by the Roadster BC. Powering the supercar is a 6.0-litre AMG V12 engine capable of offering a huge power output of 800 HP and 1050 Nm of peak torque. An improvement of 50 HP from the Huayra BC coupe is something quite extraordinary.

The engine on the Roadster BC is further mated to seven-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox with a lightweight single clutch. The single-clutch transmission is 35% lighter than the dual-clutch transmission. The brand has scaled the dry weight of the Roadster BC at 1250 kgs by replacing many bits and pieces with lighter units such as carbo-titanium HP62 G2 and carbo-Triax HP62 chassis components, which are not only lightweight but also stiff.

The braking duties on the Roadster BC are handled by Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes with six-piston callipers at the front while the rear gets four-piston callipers. The roadster features the Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tyres for extra grip on the road. Coming to the suspension, the brand has equipped the Roadster with forged aluminium alloy double wishbones with electronic dampers.

To improve the aerodynamics, the brand has equipped the roadster with a massive rear wing in addition to several scoops and splitters. The Roadster BC has excelled the Bugatti Chiron by being able to generate 1.9Gs of max lateral force in corners while the latter is good for 1.5Gs. Only 40 units of the extreme roadster would be made available across the world, making it one of the super-exclusive cars to own. The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is expected to get its first public showcase at Monterey Car Week this month.
