2020 Renault Duster SUV Spotted Testing in India: Renault Duster is awaiting an upgrade and the major changes are seen directly on the interior of the car in its 2020 version. The premium feel comes from the new exterior look, using projectors in the front lights and three slat grill for an iconic wide-faced SUV look.
The rear now comes with excessive plastic cladding and moreover, the number plate confirms that the model is under testing period for some solid reason. The older engines will be used under the Dacia brand while Renault Duster will definitely use the hybrid powertrain to impress buyers that are more aware of the limited fossil fuel power.
The engines will now feature BS6-compliant nature while updates like the headlight design are now crystal clear. While the car comes with a new grille, the front section has also been made safer with the new pedestrian-friendly design lines. The arrival of April 1, 2020, will see the iconic switch from BS4 to BS6 vehicles, forcing many dealers into the new game with front end discounts being the only way to survive. The bonnet is now higher than the standard version, featuring new sporty bumper that brings a fresh essence out of the 2020 model of the Duster.
The new grille design is the same one that is expected on the new Renault Triber. The new car is also expected to feature a sunroof while the 2020 model will keep only the 110 HP version on sale after the implementation of BS6 emission norms. The car is counted as a major facelift by the brand and frame remains the same for the Duster after all these changes.
The interior now features a touchscreen, sporty steering wheel and all new instrument console with a display area for the real-time values. The car will feel more connected with the top-end features like cruise control and others. It rivals none other than Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-Cross in the segment.
