Renault KWID Climber has been launched in India with a starting price tag of INR 4.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The starting price is for the manual variant while the AMT variant can be had for INR 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car can only be bought with a 1.0 liter engine and gets a place over the standard RXT (O) variant in the lineup. The changes are restricted to the visual appearance of the car only.

KWID Climber is offered in Electric Blue, Outback Bronze and Planet Grey. The bookings for the car have started at all dealerships across India. The version that was showcased on the Auto Expo 2016 was loaded with high ground clearance, short overhangs and added equipment while the version launched is added with Orange side mirrors, roof rails and skid plate only. The engine remains the same on the KWID Climber.
The car measures 3992 mm in length, 1579 mm in width and 1513 mm in height. The wheelbase stands at 2422 mm while the ground clearance on offer is 180 mm. The 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder engine on the KWID Climber is good for 67 BHP at 5500 rpm and 91 Nm at 4250 rpm. The car carries class leading 300 liters of boot space. It claims a mileage of 23.01 kmpl for the manual and 24.04 kmpl for the AMT variant.
