Skoda has unveiled the VisionS concept at the ongoing 2016 Geneva motor show. The concept offers a preview of Skoda’s upcoming cross. The car features a muscular yet stylish front, with sleek lines and a slender grille. Slim, sharp headlights add to aggressive looking face of the car.
Intense character lines and a tapering roof make the car look nothing less than stunning. The concept also features a dual exhaust, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a flush-mounted door.
Coming to the interiors, the car is packed with the latest widgets including but not limited to a digital instrument cluster, an infotainment system for the front passenger, a touchscreen digital center stack. The six-seater has high quality leather upholstery, metallic trim and a rear-seat entertainment system. Armrests also offer smartphone integration.
The core of VisionS concept is powered by 1.4 liter TSI petrol engine equipped with two electric motors producing a power of 225 bhp. The car haso 12.4 kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery.
It can go from zero to 100 kmph in 7.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 200 kmph. Being a hybrid, the car is very fuel friendly returning a mileage of 54 kmpl (approx.). The car measures 4.70 m in length, 1.91 m in width , 1.68 m in height and has a wheelbase of 2.79m.
