Apart from this, the top-spec variant of the SUV also features a 6-way powered driver seat, auto-dimming IRVM (Interior Rearview Mirror) as well as an all-new Calypso Red colour scheme. The updated SUV will now also feature ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as standard across all the variants.
Powering the 2020 Tata Harrier SUV will be the BS6-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine which is now capable of offering maximum power of 170HP as opposed to the 140HP offered by the BS4 variant. The maximum torque remains the same at 350Nm.
The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission while the brand will also introduce an all-new 6-speed torque converter transmission sourced from Hyundai. Tata Motors is further expected to offer the automatic variant in three trims – XMA, XZA, and XZA+.
