Back on February 22, 2021, Tata officially launched the new model of Safari with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 14.69 lakhs. As we reported earlier, the SUV is being offered with two seating configurations – 6-seater with captain seats for the middle row occupants and 7-seater with bench-type 2nd row of seats.
Some of the key features of the new Tata Safari include a dual-tone white-black interior theme, front parking sensors, electronic parking brake, JBL audio system, 8.8-inch infotainment touch screen system, six airbags, and a panoramic sunroof.
Mechanically, the 2021 Tata Safari is equipped with the Harrier’s 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine churning out 170PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
