At present, Tata Nexon EV is available in the Indian markets at a starting price tag of INR 14.24 lakhs while the price range goes all the way up to INR 16.85 lakhs for the top model of the Dark Edition. The car is available in three trim levels namely XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list for the all-electric SUV.
Going by the overall styling of the car, it is almost similar to the fuel-powered BS6 model of the Nexon. The EV comes featured with the same humanity-line front grille that is further mated to razor-edged headlights surrounded by LED DRLs. The car is equipped with an all-new alloy wheel design. It also gets a new paint scheme that is christened as Signature Teal Blue.
Coming to the interiors, the higher-spec variant of the car gets featured with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Harman with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. In addition to this, the infotainment system also supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, video playback, smartphone-based navigation and more. The Nexon EV gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel along with a rear parking camera with reverse parking assist.
Mechanically, the all-electric SUV is powered by a permanent magnet AC motor that draws its power from a 30.2kWh lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery with an IP67 rating. The Nexon EV generates a maximum power of 129HP along with a peak torque of 245Nm.
The range of the Tata Nexon EV is 312km on a single charge of the battery which can be charged up to 80% with a fast charger in only 60 minutes. Also, every minute of fast charging will offer the SUV a range of 4kms. The battery can be fully charged in 8-9 hours by a standard 15A AC home charger.
The customers will get an 8-year/1,60,000km warranty on the battery as well as the motor as standard. The Tata Nexon EV also comes equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS). According to the brand, the all-electric model of the Nexon is fast enough to achieve 0-60kph in just 4.6 seconds and 100kph in 9.9 seconds from a standstill.
