5 New Tata Cars to Debut @ Auto Expo 2018: Tata Motors recently teased five products in a single image, all of them waiting to get official debut at Auto Expo 2018. They are working really hard on new products as recent sales figures are taking them back into good books of Indian automobile lovers.
The success story of Tiago, Tigor, Nexon and Hexa is worth praising as all of them are loved among their respective segment. Although, it’s hard to say about Hexa, as Innova Crysta has a cult following, other three will gain numbers for sure this year. Coming back to these five products, Tata is now ready to enter new and popular segments.
One among these will be Tata Tigor Sport or Tiago Sport, both using the same platform and expected to offer better performance through 1.2L turbocharged engine from Tata Nexon. Tata Motors will work on a stiffer suspension setup and bigger wheels for more body control.
Second product is a next generation commercial vehicle that has no hints in the industry till date. Tata could consider bringing an electric vehicle for this segment. Most awaited out of all is Tata X451 premium hatchback concept. It can debut in a near production version at Auto Expo 2018. It will compete with Hyundai i20 & Maruti Baleno.
Tata Motors will also bring a Creta sized SUV that will sit above Nexon in their Indian lineup. It could be a popular choice of buyers as they are pretty impressed with built quality and design of Tata cars. They will also bring an option that could replace Tata Safari and serve as their flagship for 2018.
The car spied with Land Rover parts is surely going to be for that XUV segment. If all this comes out to be true, Tata Motors will be the most interesting brand at this year’s Auto Expo. Apart from them, Maruti will also introduce their game changing Kwid rival named Concept Future-S.
