Tata Altroz Hatchback Variant-Wise Price List: Tata Altroz, one of the most anticipated hatchbacks from the brand was officially launched in India back in January 2020. The ex-showroom price range of the car starts from INR 5.29 lakh for the base variant while the price range goes all the way up to INR 9.34 lakh for the highest-spec variant. The customers can avail the hatchback in 5 trims namely XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ (O) which can be further availed in multiple colour options and feature packs, taking the total number of variants to 22.
Tata Altroz can be availed in two powertrains where the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine is capable of offering maximum power of 86 HP @ 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 113 Nm @ 3300 rpm. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine is good for 90 HP of maximum power @ 4000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque @ 1250-3000 rpm. Both the engines have been mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Based on the Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) architecture, the hatchback has been equipped with a prominent grille at the front that is further mated to sleek headlight design. Adding to its overall sturdy profile are the blacked-out ORVMs, roof rails as well as the stylish taillights. The window lines flow all the way to the C-Pillar offering it a determined look while the additional elements equipped on the rear windscreen further improves the aerodynamics.
The Tata Altroz has been able to score a total of 5 stars in the Global NCAP crash tests in terms of adult occupant safety. The hatchback will compete in the market with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 Elite, Toyota Glanza, Ford Figo, and the Volkswagen Polo.
