Tata motors never leave the opportunity to troll their rival Maruti Suzuki. Tata Motors’ humorous messages continue to be popular on the internet on a daily basis. In the current round of Latin NCAP crash testing, the made-in-India Suzuki Swift received a score of zero stars. However, the tested Swift model is on sale in Latin America, not in India. But still, the Tata brand reacted by mocking Swift on social media in a funny way.
The official Twitter handle of the company shared an image with the caption “Don’t gamble with safety.” In the tweet, the company uploaded the English characters of Swift’s name by twisting it in a humorous way (SIWTF). Also, they mentioned that the “latest NCAP safety test shows that it’s not safe to ride ‘Swift’ly.” However, after a period, this post was removed. But it quickly went viral, and the users thoroughly loved it.
While talking about the Tata company’s performance in the Indian vehicle market, it has had tremendous sales growth in recent years. Tata Motors sells a number of vehicles that have received high crash test safety ratings. As a matter of fact, both the Nexon and the Altroz have a 5-star Global NCAP crash test rating. The Tata Tiago and Tigor, the brand’s entry-level vehicles, have received a four-star rating from Global NCAP.
On the other hand, Suzuki Swift scored zero stars in the Latin NCAP car crash test. Additionally, the DZire has also received a zero score in the Latin Encap test safety rating. Swift obtained a 15.53 per cent score for adult occupant protection and a zero per cent score for kid occupant protection. Furthermore, the automobile received a pedestrian protection score of 66.9% and a safety assist score of 6.98%. However, the Maruti Swift is still the best-selling car in its segment in the Indian market.
