Tata Motors has introduced the Red Dark edition of the Nexon in India, at a starting price of Rs 12.35 lakh (ex-showroom). It debuted alongside a similar edition of the Harrier and Safari SUVs. This Red Dark edition is based on the SUV’s existing Dark Edition lineup.
The Red Dark edition of Nexon features an Oberon Black exterior with red accents on the front grille and brake callipers. Then there’s the ‘Dark’ badge, which is finished in the red on the front fender. Other elements from the Dark edition are carried over. Like the blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels finished in a charcoal black paint scheme.
The interior is black with Carnelian Red accents on the grab handles, steering wheel, centre console, and leatherette seats. The ‘Dark’ branding has also been embossed on the seat headrests. Wireless charging, a sunroof, ventilated seats, an air purifier, etc are carried over from the previous trim level.
The Nexon Red Dark edition retains the same engine options, which are now BS6 Phase-2 compliant.
