Tata Motors is ready to introduce their all-new micro SUV, ‘Punch’, to the Indian vehicle market on October 4, 2021. But prior to the official debut, some of its details have leaked online, revealing the variants and colour schemes.
According to the leaked information, Tata will offer the Punch in three single-tone colours and six dual-tone colours. Talking about the trim levels, the Punch will be offered in four different trim levels: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative.
Looking forward to the single-tone colour choices offered in the forthcoming Tata Punch are White, Grey and Stonehenge. As per the leaked image, the entry-level Pure variant will be available only in the White colour scheme, whereas the Adventure variant will get three colour options like Grey, White, and Stonehenge. And the accomplished variant will be offered in two colour options: White and Grey.
In addition, the dual-tone paint schemes will be offered only in the Creative variant of the new Tata Punch. These are White, Grey, Orange, Stonehenge, and Urban Bronze with a black roof, while the Blue has a white roof. In terms of design, the Punch will have a slew of smart and luxury features, such as projector headlights with LED DRLs, LED taillamps, faux roof rails, a muscular bumper, underbody and side cladding and sporty alloy wheels. The cabin, on the other hand, will be outfitted with a touchscreen infotainment system and a multi-functional flat-bottom steering wheel.
When it comes to performance, the Tata Punch is anticipated to feature the same Revotron 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine (86PS peak power and 113Nm peak torque) as the Tata Altroz, Tata Tigor, and Tata Tiago. It will be available with both a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The online surfaced image also disclosed that the 5-speed AMT option would be confined to the Adventure and Creative trim levels only. All versions will come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.
