New Tata Sierra Production Variant Rendered by SRK Designs

New Tata Sierra Production Variant Rendered by SRK Designs: The Tata Sierra EV Concept has been recently unveiled by the brand at the Auto Expo 2020 while the production variant of the EV has been rendered by SRK Designs. The designer has made use of all the information available at the moment on the Tata Sierra while the EV has been further shown with sliding rear doors design.

Judging from the rendered image, the EV can be offered with the same design language when officially launched in the country which is expected to take place sometime by the end of the year 2022 as per the details available.

The 2020 Tata Sierra EV concept is based on the ‘IMPACT 2.0’ design language which has offered it a futuristic look based on the brand’s modern vision. The EV has been further offered a sliding door design at the rear while the brand has officially ruled out the probability of offering it a 3-door design.

Apart from this, the brand recently conveyed that if the production variant of the Tata Sierra is introduced in the Indian market, it will be available with both the petrol and diesel engines as well as with a pure electric powertrain.

SRK Designs has offered the production variant of the Tata Sierra with a slightly toned down outlook when compared to the official concept unveiled at Auto Expo. The front fascia of the EV has been equipped with a split headlamp design in addition to getting a new front grille with closely designed air intakes. In addition to this, the front bumper has been tweaked a bit and now features a faux skid plate.

The doors at the front have been equipped with conventional door handles which replaces the touch-operated design offered to the concept. The designer has further equipped the Tata Sierra production variant with sliding rear doors at either side with conventional door handles that adds to the practicality and will keep the costs under check. In addition to this, the rendered image features a toned-down alloy wheels design that will help stabilize the EV better on the Indian roads.

The brand is expected to use the same battery pack and motor specifications for the Sierra EV that have been planned for the Altroz EV though there are no official details revealed on either. Once launched in India, the Sierra will be one of the most cherished flagship products from the brand in the Indian market.
