Tata Tiago Wizz variant has been recently launched by the brand to commence the festive season. The hatchback is priced at INR 5.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while gets a premium of INR 10,000 over the standard XZ variant. Equipped with a host of cosmetic changes, the all-new hatchback variant from the brand looks promising.
The limited-edition Tata Tiago Wizz features a titanium grey colour while the contrasting glossy black look adds to its premium appeal. Coming to the front fascia, the hatchback has been equipped with a front grille with orange accents. The same treatment is offered to the “Hyper Style” alloy wheels.
In addition to these, the Wizz variant has been equipped with orange ORVMs as well as the “Wizz” badging on the body panels. Coming to the interiors, the hatchback gets orange stitching on the fabric seats in addition to the orange accents on the AC vents as well as a redesigned titanium grey gear lever.
Borrowing the standard features from the Tata Tiago XZ variant, the Tiago Wizz features the same 2-DIN audio system with USB, Bluetooth, and AUX connectivity in addition to getting power-adjustable wing mirrors, steering mounted car controls, central locking capabilities and more. Apart from the cosmetic changes, the engine specifications on the Wizz variant remains the same.
Powering the Tata Tiago Wizz is the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 85HP at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 114Nm at 3500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Tiago Wizz competes in the market with the likes of Maruti Suzuki’s Celerio, WagonR, Datsun GO, and the Hyundai Santro.
As per the latest news, the top-spec XZ+ and XZA+ variants of the Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor are now available with a fully-digital instrument panel. In addition to this, the brand is also planning on launching the Tata Nexon electric variant based on its new Ziptron technology in the coming months.
