Tata Tigor is the most effective priced compact sedan of India, carrying a starting price of INR 4,84,296 for the petrol and INR 5,72,579 for the diesel model. The most feature loaded model, Tigor XZ(O), is priced at INR 6,31,298 for the petrol and INR 7,19,201 for the diesel variant. The rival compact sedan Maruti Dzire offer the top manual variant for INR 8,97,990.

The top manual variant for rival Amaze is available at INR 8.78 lakh. Tata Tigor is powered by two different engine options, first of them being a powerful petrol option with 85PS of maximum power and 114Nm of torque. The diesel engine is smaller is displacement, producing just 70PS of power and 140Nm of torque. The petrol variant is still priced at INR 1.70 lakh and INR 1.38 lakh lower than both the rivals respectively. The difference is the price is still not enough to break the charm and help Tigor take one of the position that both these cars hold in the market.
