Tata Tigor JTP Revealed: Official Launch & Price Announcement Tomorrow

Specifications for the new Tata Tigor JTP are now official, further getting a claimed price tag of INR 8 lakh for the car. Based on the regular body shell and design lines, Tigor JTP uses a 1199cc, turbocharged engine that is good for 114 PS at 5000 rpm and 150 Nm at 2000-4000 rpm. The same engine is employed under the boot of Tiago JTP also. The sporty sedan is good for 0-100 kph in just 10.38 seconds, coming with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Similar to the performance-spec Tata Tiago, the sedan version is available with 185/60-R15 rubber with machine-finished alloy wheels, dual exhaust pipes, sporty bumper design, and dual tone body finish. The car weighs 1051 kg and offers 50mm more wheelbase than the Tiago JTP hot hatch. The feature list of Tigor JTP includes touchscreen infotainment system with 4-speakers and 4-tweeters, reverse parking camera and steering mounted controls for audio and phone.
