Top 20 Best-Selling Sedans in India (Sales Report): Maruti Suzuki’s Dzire bags the first position in the compact sedan segment. The car was good enough to register 14,868 units in June 2019, though the car registered a downfall of 39% as compared to the sales figure in June 2018.
The second and third positions were bagged by Honda’s Amaze and City respectively. Where Honda Amaze has a sales number of 5,306 units, the City registered 2,461 units leaving behind Maruti’s Ciaz with 2,322 units on its side. Hyundai’s Verna was good enough to grab the fifth position with 2,271 units and its compact sedan Xcent marked the sales number of 2,172 units leaving the Tata Tigor behind at 1,438 units.
If we talk about the Volkswagen sedans in this list, the Vento managed to register a sales number of 449 units whereas Ameo was good for just 393 units. When it comes to luxury sedans, the Skoda Superb is the car which was able to register the highest sales number of 106 units in June 2019.
Under the premium sedan segment, theHonda Civic is leading the sales chart with 250 units leaving behind the Skoda Octavia at 176 units, while the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Elantra were good for 90 units and 60 units respectively. The least sales number was registered by the Fiat Linea as the brand was able to sell just 52 units in June 2019.
