Top 25 Best-Selling Cars in India | Sales Report (January 2018)

Top 25 Cars in India: January 2018 gave a good start to most brands as top 25 best-selling cars of India flaunted impressive numbers in overall terms.

As always, basic trends with Maruti and Hyundai cars dominating the top charts remained almost the same but Tiago made a special entry into 10 top selling cars of India.

First place was bagged by Maruti Dzire with 22,540 units in January 2018. Second was Alto with 19,134 units while Baleno came third with 17,770 units. Maruti’s sales legacy was unmatched as fourth and fifth position was bagged by Swift (14,445 units) and WagonR (14,182 units) respectively.

Hyundai i10 Grand stood sixth with 12,109 units for January 2018. Maruti Vitara Brezza sold 11,785 units and became the last product to score a five digit sales number.

Eighth position goes to Hyundai i20 Elite (9650 units) while Creta scored 9284 units to claim the ninth position. Tata Tiago is one among the most popular options that one could buy in India and got itself the tenth position with 8287 units.

It seems like Kwid’s share is moving right into Tata’s direction. Mahindra Bolero seems most affected with Vitara Brezza’s presence as it sold 8206 units in January 2018.

Bolero is still going good but others are selling way more units in India. Celerio was good for 7641 units while Innova Crysta got itself 7028 buyers in the first month of 2018.

Ford EcoSport, Maruti Omni, Hyundai Eon and Maruti Eeco sold more than 6,000 units each during this period. Other best selling cars of India were Renault Kwid, Maruti Ignis, Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Ciaz, Tata Nexon, Maruti Ertiga, Hyundai Verna and Honda WR-V.

Above all others, Maruti Dzire seems unaffected from its competition as even after getting so many worthy products, Indian market is highly focused on Dzire.
