Toyota Bharat recently launched the 2022 model of the Glanza hatchback in the country with an introductory price tag of Rs 6.39 lakh. The car is based on the same platform on which the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is built.
The 2022 Toyota Glanza has a completely new design and a range of sophisticated features. The brand has offered the car in four variants called E, S, G, and V.
As per the latest details available, the first batch of the car has started reaching dealerships across the country and the deliveries are expected to commence very soon. Here are the live photos of the 2022 Glanza from the dealership:

Speaking of the powertrain, the new Glanza is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, DualJet K12N petrol engine, which is capable of churning out 90 hp and 113 Nm when combined with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. This is also the first Toyota in India to come fitted with an AMT transmission. As claimed by the brand, this model will offer a fuel efficiency of 22.9 km/l.
When it comes to the design and styling, starting with the exterior looks, the 2022 Glanza boasts an entirely new front facade as compared to the new Baleno and features a new front grille that is quite similar to other Toyota family cars. The car gets a redesigned headlamp console as well as new L-shaped LED DRLs. The side profile gets updated with all-new alloys and the rear profile with split taillamps. Other than that, no update has been noted to the outer profile.
Turning to the interior of the hatch, it gets a few restyled elements such as a dual-tone dashboard, Heads-Up Display (HUD), a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, two analogue dials, and a MID on the instrument cluster, to name a few. In terms of safety, the vehicle comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, rear parking sensors, and many more.
